We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Tlemcen. The successful candidate will work closely with our conservation team to develop and implement sustainable development projects that promote environmental conservation and community engagement.

Job Overview

As an Environmental Sustainability Consultant with The Nature Conservancy, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that promote environmental conservation and sustainable development. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement sustainable development projects that benefit both people and the environment.

You will work closely with our conservation team to identify and develop project ideas, conduct research and analysis, and develop project proposals and reports. You will also work with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to promote project outcomes and ensure their sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sustainable development projects that promote environmental conservation and community engagement.
  • Work closely with our conservation team to identify and develop project ideas, conduct research and analysis, and develop project proposals and reports.
  • Collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to promote project outcomes and ensure their sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local communities, governments, and other organizations.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project development and implementation.
  • Develop and implement project monitoring and evaluation plans to ensure project outcomes are met.
  • Required Skills
  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in environmental sustainability and conservation.
  • Strong background in project development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
