Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Tlemcen, Algeria. The successful candidate will work closely with our local partners and stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable development projects that promote environmental conservation and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field, and will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the social, economic, and environmental challenges facing our region.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sustainable development projects that promote environmental conservation and community engagement

Work closely with local partners and stakeholders to identify and address environmental challenges

Conduct research and analysis to inform project design and implementation

Develop and maintain relationships with local government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders

Monitor and evaluate project progress and impact

Required Skills

Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field

8-12 years of experience in environmental sustainability or a related field

Strong understanding of environmental conservation principles and practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Fluency in Arabic and French

Education

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field from a recognized university. A Ph.D. in a related field is an asset.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in environmental sustainability or a related field, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful projects that promote environmental conservation and community engagement.

Salary

The salary for this position is 45,000 – 60,000 SSP per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
