Job Overview

Schneider Electric is seeking a finance professional to lead accounting, tax, and financial strategy for its Algeria operations. The role focuses on ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and alignment with both group standards and local regulations while supporting business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Governance

  • Contribute to defining and executing financial, accounting, and tax strategy for Algeria
  • Propose financial policies and objectives aligned with business goals
  • Ensure alignment with Group standards and local regulations

Accounting & Reporting

  • Coordinate with Accounting Competency Center for bookkeeping activities
  • Oversee general and analytical accounting processes
  • Manage monthly and annual closings
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with Group tools and standards

Compliance & Regulatory

  • Prepare and supervise statutory declarations (G50, transfer pricing, social declarations)
  • Ensure adherence to financial procedures and internal controls
  • Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies

Cost Control & Performance

  • Monitor and control costs to align with company financial objectives
  • Support financial communication and reporting to stakeholders

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as key contact for auditors, accounting firms, shared services, and banking partners
  • Collaborate with internal departments for financial data consolidation and reporting

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bac+4 degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Audit experience (preferred)
  • Fluent English (professional level)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial compliance
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
