Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Batna, Algeria. As a key member of our Environmental Planning department, you will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments and developing strategies to mitigate potential environmental risks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, a proven track record of conducting environmental impact assessments, and excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects, including infrastructure development, urban planning, and industrial activities
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential environmental risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into project design and implementation
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and project partners
- Conduct fieldwork and data collection, including surveys, monitoring, and sampling
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and planning
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in Algeria
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Arabic and French
