Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Water Treatment Engineer to join our specialized technical team in Relizane. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize advanced water treatment processes, including reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration.
  • Conduct regular site audits to ensure all treatment facilities meet strict environmental safety regulations.
  • Manage the chemical dosing protocols and monitor effluent quality parameters continuously.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting for complex mechanical and chemical failures in treatment units.
  • Collaborate with local government agencies to ensure compliance with Algerian environmental laws.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and performance metrics for stakeholders and clients.
  • Supervise junior engineers and technical staff during large-scale plant upgrades.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in chemical process modeling and hydraulic calculations.
  • Expert knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies and sludge management.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting complex laboratory data.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and French; English is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and specialized water modeling software.

Education

A Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic background in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.

Experience

A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial water treatment or large-scale municipal water management is required. Proven experience in managing large-scale chemical processes is highly desirable. Candidates should have a track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 650,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s specific expertise and technical certifications.
