Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Communications Systems Engineer to join our expanding team in Biskra, Algeria. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement satellite communication systems including link budgets, frequency plans, and network architecture
• Configure and optimize VSAT networks, satellite modems, and RF equipment for maximum performance
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments for new satellite communication installations
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of satellite ground segment equipment
• Develop technical documentation including system designs, installation procedures, and operational manuals
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for satellite communication networks across Algeria
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with international engineering teams on technology transfer and knowledge sharing
• Train local technicians and customers on satellite system operation and maintenance
• Stay current with emerging satellite communication technologies and industry standards

• Expert knowledge of satellite communication principles and technologies
• Proficiency in satellite link budget analysis and frequency planning
• Strong understanding of RF theory, modulation techniques, and multiple access schemes

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in satellite communications are highly desirable. Experience

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in satellite communications systems engineering, with demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing satellite networks. Experience working with international satellite service providers and knowledge of North African telecommunications landscape preferred.
