Job Overview
ENGIE Algeria seeks a Hydrogen Energy Project Manager to lead the design, execution, and optimization of hydrogen production and distribution projects in Skikda. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with international energy standards. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute hydrogen energy projects from concept to completion, including feasibility studies and technical design.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Develop partnerships with local and international stakeholders, including government agencies and energy suppliers.
- Monitor hydrogen production efficiency and implement sustainability improvements.
- Prepare project reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in hydrogen energy systems, electrolysis, or gas infrastructure.
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred.
- Experience in energy sector regulations and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Education
Master’s degree in Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Renewable Energy. Professional certifications in project management or hydrogen technology are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years in energy project management, with 2+ years in hydrogen or renewable energy sectors. Experience in Algeria’s energy market is a plus.
Salary
300,000 – 450,000 SSP annually, based on experience and performance.
