Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our upcoming large-scale construction initiatives in the Biskra region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects, including site preparation, structural work, and final inspections.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts to ensure efficient execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, local authorities, and government agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor project progress against milestones and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks or delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all construction activities adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
- Manage project documentation, including technical reports, change orders, and financial reconciliations.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Deep technical knowledge of civil engineering, structural integrity, and construction materials.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities in a multicultural environment.
- Strong negotiation skills for managing vendor contracts and stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address complex on-site technical challenges.
- Fluency in French and English is essential; Arabic is highly preferred.
Education
A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in a project management role overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, or dams). Proven experience working in the North African or Middle Eastern construction markets is a significant plus.
Salary
The offered salary for this position is between 450,000 SSP and 650,000 SSP per month, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance during the probationary period.
