Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geophysics Research Scientist to join our team in Tissemsilt, Algeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, with a focus on seismic exploration and imaging. The role will involve working closely with our international partners and collaborators to advance our understanding of the Earth’s subsurface.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Geophysics and at least 5 years of experience in research and development. They will have a strong background in seismic exploration and imaging, and will be familiar with industry-standard software and equipment.
The successful candidate will be based in Tissemsilt, Algeria, and will be required to travel occasionally to our offices in the UK and other locations around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in geophysics, with a focus on seismic exploration and imaging
- Work closely with international partners and collaborators to advance our understanding of the Earth’s subsurface
- Develop and implement new methods and techniques for seismic exploration and imaging
- Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to advance our understanding of the Earth’s subsurface
- Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and other media
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Geophysics
- At least 5 years of experience in research and development
- Strong background in seismic exploration and imaging
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and equipment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
