Job Overview:WWF Algeria is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Geoinformatics Research Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and developing innovative solutions to address environmental challenges in Algeria. The position will involve working closely with our team of experts to design and implement projects that promote sustainable development and conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on geospatial data to inform conservation and development projects
- Develop and implement geospatial models and tools to support decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement projects that promote sustainable development and conservation
- Communicate research findings and results to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and publications
Required Skills:
- Ph.D. in Geoinformatics or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in research and development
- Strong knowledge of geospatial data analysis and modeling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
