Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Ain Beida, Algeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments for various projects and activities in Algeria. The candidate will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and experience in conducting environmental impact assessments. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects and activities in Algeria
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans for projects and activities
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that all projects are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other organizations
  • Provide technical assistance and support to our team on environmental issues

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in Algeria
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in Arabic and French

Education

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a related field is an asset.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management. Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments for various projects and activities in Algeria is an asset.

Salary

The salary for this position is 40000-60000 SSP per year, depending on experience.
