Job Overview
The Network Planning Manager will lead the design, optimization, and implementation of the national and regional telecom network architecture for Algérie Télécom’s projects in the southern zone. Reporting to the Director of Network Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical network plans, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct capacity and demand forecasting to ensure network scalability for projected traffic growth.
- Lead feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments for new infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with RF, transmission, and core network teams to align design specifications with operational requirements.
- Manage the preparation of technical documentation, project schedules, and budgetary forecasts.
- Oversee the procurement process, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts in line with corporate policies.
- Ensure compliance with Algerian telecom regulations, international standards, and internal quality guidelines.
- Mentor and develop a high‑performing team of network planners, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Monitor project milestones, report progress to senior management, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies such as 5G, SDN, and NFV.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in telecom network design, including LTE, 5G, fiber‑optic, and microwave technologies.

Education
