Job Overview

The Network Planning Manager will lead the design, optimization, and implementation of the national and regional telecom network architecture for Algérie Télécom’s projects in the southern zone.   • Conduct capacity and demand forecasting to ensure network scalability for projected traffic growth.
  • Lead feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments for new infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with RF, transmission, and core network teams to align design specifications with operational requirements.
  • Manage the preparation of technical documentation, project schedules, and budgetary forecasts.
  • Oversee the procurement process, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts in line with corporate policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Algerian telecom regulations, international standards, and internal quality guidelines.
  • Mentor and develop a high‑performing team of network planners, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Monitor project milestones, report progress to senior management, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies such as 5G, SDN, and NFV.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in telecom network design, including LTE, 5G, fiber‑optic, and microwave technologies.
  • Proficiency with planning tools such as Atoll, Planet, or similar software.

Education

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITU‑Certified Network Planner) are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience
