Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for digital payment solutions, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs in Algeria.
- Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to design user‑centric features and ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with compliance and risk teams to guarantee product adherence to local and international regulations.
- Develop pricing models, go‑to‑market strategies, and promotional campaigns to drive product adoption.
- Monitor product performance metrics, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, including fintech startups and payment networks.
- Prepare detailed business cases, financial forecasts, and executive presentations.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of digital payments ecosystems, including mobile wallets, QR codes, and card‑based solutions.
- Proven product management experience in fintech or banking environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Algerian financial regulations and AML/CFT standards.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, agile setting.
- Fluency in French and Arabic; English proficiency is a plus.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five years of experience in product management, specifically within digital payments or financial technology, is essential. Experience working in the Algerian market or similar emerging economies will be considered an advantage.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 150,000 to 250,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and other incentives.
