Job Overview
This Soil Scientist role is part of Yara’s initiative to expand sustainable farming solutions in eastern Algeria. The position focuses on soil analysis, nutrient management, and developing tailored crop nutrition strategies for Algerian agricultural ecosystems. Candidates will work closely with agronomists, farmers, and research institutions to optimize soil health and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field and laboratory soil analysis to assess nutrient levels, pH balance, and organic matter content.
- Develop customized soil improvement plans for diverse Algerian crops, including cereals, vegetables, and orchards.
- Collaborate with local farmers to implement soil conservation techniques and sustainable fertilization practices.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders, including government agricultural agencies.

Required Skills
- Expertise in soil sampling, testing, and interpretation of results.

Education

Experience
3-5 years of professional experience in soil science, with a focus on agricultural applications. Experience in North Africa or the Middle East is preferred.
Salary
400,000 – 500,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
