Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance, financial health, and operational excellence of ENI Algeria’s renewable energy assets located in the Mascara region and beyond. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize the operational performance of solar and wind assets to achieve target availability and capacity factors.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for each asset.
  • Develop and implement asset improvement plans, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with O&M teams, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and present insights to senior management and investors.
  • Lead the asset handover process from construction to commercial operation, ensuring seamless transition.
  • Identify opportunities for asset repowering, expansion, or divestiture in line with corporate strategy.
  • Support the acquisition and due‑diligence processes for new renewable projects.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, or similar data visualization tools.
  • In‑depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, especially solar PV and wind.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Understanding of Algerian energy regulations, grid codes, and permitting processes.
  • Financial acumen, including experience with P&L statements, IRR, and NPV calculations.
  • Fluency in French and Arabic; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, Finance, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA, PMP, or a renewable energy specialization will be considered an advantage.

Experience
