Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Drilling Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage all drilling activities on our offshore platforms in Algeria. This critical role requires a seasoned professional who can ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating drilling activities, managing operational teams, and implementing best practices in offshore drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all offshore drilling operations, including drilling, completion, and workover activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards
- Manage drilling crew performance and provide technical guidance and mentoring
- Monitor drilling parameters and make real-time decisions to optimize performance
- Coordinate with logistics, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare and review daily drilling reports, cost estimates, and operational plans
- Implement risk assessment procedures and emergency response protocols
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities as required
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper functioning of all drilling equipment
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

- Extensive knowledge of offshore drilling operations and equipment

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Advanced certifications in well control (IWCF), offshore safety, and drilling operations are highly desirable. Continuous professional development and training in emerging drilling technologies and methodologies are expected.
Experience
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in offshore drilling operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in managing complex drilling projects, leading multicultural teams, and working in challenging offshore environments. Experience in the Algerian or North African energy sector is preferred but not mandatory.
