Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and commission PLC‑based control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI interfaces to monitor real‑time production data.
  • Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis of automation failures.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate automation solutions into new product lines.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Ensure compliance with international safety standards and local regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SCADA systems (Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC).
  • Experience with HMI design and user‑interface optimization.
  • Solid understanding of industrial networking protocols (Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Project management experience in an industrial environment.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
