Job Overview

The Flight Operations Planner will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing flight schedules and operational plans for Air Algérie’s network, with a focus on the Annaba hub. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed flight schedules for domestic and international routes originating from Annaba.
  • Analyze aircraft availability, crew rostering, maintenance windows, and airport slot constraints to create feasible operational plans.
  • Coordinate with the Commercial Department to align flight plans with market demand and revenue management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Algerian Civil Aviation Authority regulations and international aviation standards.
  • Monitor real‑time flight operations and adjust plans proactively to mitigate disruptions caused by weather, air traffic control, or technical issues.
  • Prepare and present performance reports on on‑time performance, aircraft utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Safety and Quality Assurance teams to incorporate safety considerations into all planning activities.
  • Support the implementation of new route launches and seasonal schedule adjustments.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in scheduling software and advanced Excel functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
  • In‑depth knowledge of aviation regulations, air traffic management, and airline operational procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, data‑driven decisions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
  • Fluency in French and English; Arabic is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, Transportation Logistics, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as IATA Flight Operations or equivalent are desirable.

Experience

Minimum of five years of experience in flight operations planning, airline scheduling, or a similar role within the aviation industry. Prior experience with Air Algérie or other North African carriers is a plus.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 120,000 to 180,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and allowances aligned with industry standards.
