Job Overview
The Facilities Management Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing day‑to‑day operations of client sites in the Tébessa region. Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, the coordinator will ensure that all services – ranging from building maintenance, cleaning, security, and energy management – are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and cost efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and client representatives to coordinate schedules, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily facilities services across multiple client sites, ensuring compliance with contractual SLAs and health‑and‑safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain detailed work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and service logs using Sodexo’s integrated management platform.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, resolution rate, and client satisfaction, and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
- Manage relationships with third‑party vendors, negotiate service contracts, and conduct periodic audits to verify service quality and cost effectiveness.
- Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, and corrective action plans to mitigate future risks.
- Collaborate with the sustainability team to implement energy‑saving initiatives and waste‑reduction programs aligned with Sodexo’s corporate responsibility goals.
- Provide on‑site support during audits, inspections, and client meetings, presenting data‑driven insights and recommendations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, tracking expenditures against allocated budgets and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles, building systems, and regulatory standards in Algeria.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in facilities management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and drive performance improvements.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
- Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency is an advantage.
Education
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to industry best practices.
Experience
A minimum of three to five years of hands‑on experience in facilities management, preferably within a multi‑site environment, is required. Experience in coordinating service providers, managing budgets, and implementing sustainability initiatives will be considered a strong asset.
Salary
