Job Overview
The Digital Twin Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing virtual replicas of physical automotive components and systems. Working closely with product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams, the engineer will leverage simulation tools, data analytics, and IoT sensors to mirror real‑world performance in a digital environment. This role is pivotal in reducing time‑to‑market, minimizing prototyping costs, and enhancing product reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high‑fidelity digital twin models for engine components, HVAC systems, and electronic modules using CAD and simulation software.
- Integrate real‑time sensor data from test benches and production lines to continuously update virtual models.
- Collaborate with design engineers to validate concepts and perform virtual testing, reducing physical prototype cycles.
- Analyze simulation results to identify performance gaps, propose design improvements, and support root‑cause analysis.
- Maintain a centralized digital twin repository, ensuring version control and data integrity.
- Provide technical guidance and training to multidisciplinary teams on digital twin best practices.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for digital twin implementation across projects.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in IoT, AI, and simulation to continuously enhance the digital twin ecosystem.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation platforms (ANSYS, Simcenter).
- Strong understanding of data acquisition systems and IoT integration.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or MATLAB for data processing.

Education

Salary
