Job Overview

The Cold Chain Logistics Manager will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of temperature‑controlled transportation and storage for Coca‑Cola Algeria’s product portfolio. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor real‑time temperature data using IoT sensors and ensure corrective actions for any deviations.
  • Coordinate with production planners to synchronize outbound shipments with manufacturing schedules.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with third‑party logistics providers specializing in cold storage.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, temperature variance, and cost per ton‑kilometer.
  • Lead a team of logistics coordinators, providing coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives, including route optimization and energy‑efficient refrigeration technologies.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of cold chain logistics, temperature monitoring systems, and food safety standards.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle Transportation Management).

Education
