Job Overview
As an AgriTech Innovation Specialist, you will lead the development and implementation of technology-driven solutions to optimize agricultural practices in Algeria. This role bridges the gap between emerging agri-tech innovations and traditional farming methods, ensuring scalable impact across the region. The position is ideal for professionals passionate about leveraging technology to address global food challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage agri-tech projects focused on soil health, precision farming, and water efficiency.
- Collaborate with local farmers, research institutions, and tech startups to pilot innovative agricultural tools.
- Conduct feasibility studies for agri-tech solutions tailored to Algeria’s climatic and soil conditions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented technologies to ensure measurable outcomes.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in agricultural technology or related fields.
- Strong project management capabilities with a track record of successful implementation.
- Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and digital agriculture tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in French and Arabic, with English as a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or Agri-Tech Innovation. Advanced degrees in Sustainable Development or Environmental Science are advantageous.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in agricultural technology, project management, or agri-food systems. Prior work in North Africa or the Middle East is preferred.
Salary
180,000 – 270,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
