Job Overview
The Mine Operations Supervisor will oversee daily underground and surface mining activities at Glocore’s Sétif site, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise mining crews to achieve daily production quotas.
- Monitor equipment performance, schedule maintenance, and coordinate with the maintenance team.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular toolbox talks and inspections.
- Implement operational plans that maximize ore recovery while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with geologists and engineers to adjust mining methods based on ore body characteristics.
- Prepare and present daily and weekly production reports to senior management.
- Manage inventory of consumables and spare parts to avoid operational delays.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen initiatives and performance metrics.

Education

Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of five to seven years of hands‑on experience in underground or open‑pit mining operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or lead role.
