Job Overview
The Senior Mine Geologist will lead geological investigations, data interpretation, and resource modeling for Eramet’s Bejaia mining project. Key Responsibilities
- Design and supervise field mapping, sampling, and geophysical surveys across the Bejaia mining lease.
- Interpret geological data to develop 3D geological models and estimate mineral resources.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with mining engineers to integrate geological models into mine planning and optimization.
- Mentor and train junior geologists and field technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
- Maintain and update GIS and geological databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting mining geology.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in geological software such as Surfer, Leapfrog, or GeoModeller.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision making.

Education

Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, geological modeling, and resource estimation, preferably within the North African mining sector.
