Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Manager will lead the planning, cost control, and performance monitoring functions for multiple large‑scale construction projects in the Ghardaïa region. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing robust control systems, ensuring accurate forecasting, and delivering projects on time and within budget.   • Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to monitor project performance and identify corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with procurement and contracts teams to track change orders, variations, and claim settlements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans, updating the risk register throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular project control meetings, presenting status updates, key performance indicators, and actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with Algerian construction codes, health and safety regulations, and Eiffage internal standards.
  • Mentor junior project control staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control tools.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and Arabic; English is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Leadership experience with a collaborative approach to team management.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Algerian construction regulations and industry best practices.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, or a recognized cost engineering qualification (e.g., AACE) is highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum of 5‑7 years of hands‑on experience in project controls within the construction industry, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure or commercial projects. Experience with international standards and multinational project environments is an advantage.

Salary
