Job Overview

This role leads the development and execution of circular economy projects in Skikda, focusing on waste valorization, resource recovery, and community engagement. The position requires strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, and technical expertise to advance Veolia’s mission of reducing environmental impact through sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage end-to-end circular economy projects, including waste collection, sorting, and material recovery.
• Collaborate with local governments, NGOs, and private sector partners to align initiatives with regional sustainability targets.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new waste management technologies.
• Monitor project performance against KPIs such as waste diversion rates and carbon footprint reduction.
• Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in project management within environmental or waste management sectors.
• Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainable resource management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, GIS) and project management software.
• Fluency in French and Arabic is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in Sustainable Development or Business Administration is an asset.

Experience

3–5 years of professional experience in environmental project management, with a focus on waste management or resource recovery. Experience in Algeria or North Africa is advantageous.

Salary

400,000 – 500,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
