Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all Nestlé products manufactured in the Blida plant meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the QA Manager, the engineer will design, implement, and monitor quality control processes, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols in accordance with local and international standards.
• Conduct regular product testing, process validation, and equipment calibration to ensure compliance.
• Lead internal and external audits, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.
• Analyze data trends to identify root causes of non‑conformities and drive preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and deviation reports.
• Support regulatory submissions and ensure alignment with Algerian food safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP principles.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and quality management software.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience

Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment. Experience with large‑scale production lines and familiarity with Algerian food regulations will be considered an asset.

Salary
