Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Siemens Algeria’s manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Head of Quality, the incumbent will develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality controls into product design and manufacturing processes.
- Lead failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) sessions and risk assessments.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to senior management.
- Support supplier qualification and performance monitoring activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
- Effective communication skills in both French and English; Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and ERP platforms.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in high‑tech or industrial sectors. Experience with automotive, aerospace, or energy equipment manufacturing is considered an advantage.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 120,000 to 180,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and a pension scheme.
