Job Overview
The Structural Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing structural systems for a variety of construction projects in Biskra and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects using industry‑standard software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and Revit.
- Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and safety assessments to ensure compliance with Algerian building codes and international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to integrate structural solutions seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that construction aligns with design intent and quality requirements.
- Provide technical support during the bidding process, including cost estimation and value engineering.
- Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential construction challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering department.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, Revit).
- Strong understanding of Algerian building codes, Eurocode, and international design standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and client interaction.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) are advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of hands‑on experience in structural design and analysis for large‑scale construction projects. Experience with high‑rise buildings, bridges, or industrial facilities is highly valued.
Salary
