Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our production facility in Skikda. This role is critical to ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the rigorous safety and quality benchmarks set by both Nestlé Global and local Algerian regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will oversee complex testing protocols, manage compliance documentation, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across the production line.
  • Conduct regular audits of raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and waste reduction.
  • Collaborate with the R&D department to validate new product formulations and packaging integrity.
  • Investigate deviations in production quality and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Train junior quality technicians on standardized testing methodologies and safety protocols.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001, and FSSC 22000 standards.
  • Expertise in statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex laboratory results.
  • Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP software and quality management modules.

Education

A Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related technical field is mandatory. Professional certifications in Quality Management or Food Safety are highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a large-scale manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage sector. Proven experience in managing compliance audits and leading technical teams is essential for this senior-level position.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 to 650,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and performance during the interview process.
