Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to join our specialized Security Operations Center (SOC) in Médéa. This role is critical to our mission of providing real-time monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex security data, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing mitigation strategies to protect our clients’ digital assets. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts from various sources including SIEM, EDR, and firewall logs.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis of suspicious network traffic and file behaviors.

  • Collaborate with the incident response team to contain and remediate threats.
  • Develop and refine detection rules and playbooks to improve SOC efficiency.

  • Participate in continuous threat hunting activities to identify hidden malicious actors.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and other core networking protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques.
  • Expertise in identifying common attack vectors such as phishing, SQL injection, and ransomware.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills for technical reporting and cross-team collaboration.

Education

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required. Candidates with specialized certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ will be given significant preference.

Experience

Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar cybersecurity role. Proven experience in incident response and threat hunting is essential for success in this position.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 650,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical certifications.
