Job Overview
The Economic Development Specialist will play a key role in supporting the World Bank’s economic development work in Algeria. The successful candidate will have a strong background in economics and experience working on economic development issues in developing countries. The Economic Development Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and advice to the Government of Algeria on economic development issues, and will work closely with other World Bank staff and external partners to support the implementation of the Bank’s economic development program in Algeria.
The Economic Development Specialist will also be responsible for conducting economic analysis and research to inform the World Bank’s economic development work in Algeria. This will include analyzing data and trends on Algeria’s economy, and identifying opportunities for economic growth and development. The Economic Development Specialist will also be responsible for developing and implementing economic development projects and programs, and will work closely with other World Bank staff and external partners to ensure that these projects and programs are successfully implemented.

Key Responsibilities
