Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geophysics Research Scientist to join our team in Tissemsilt, Algeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, with a focus on understanding the Earth’s subsurface structure and processes.

The Geophysics Research Scientist will work closely with our team of scientists and engineers to design, implement, and analyse geophysical surveys and experiments. They will also be responsible for publishing research papers and presenting their findings at international conferences.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Geophysics and at least 8 years of experience in research and development. They will have a strong background in geophysics, including seismic, gravity, and magnetic methods, and experience with data analysis and interpretation.

They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and analyse geophysical surveys and experiments
  • Conduct research in geophysics, with a focus on understanding the Earth’s subsurface structure and processes
  • Publish research papers and present findings at international conferences
  • Work closely with our team of scientists and engineers to achieve research goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Ph.D. in Geophysics
  • At least 8 years of experience in research and development
  • Strong background in geophysics, including seismic, gravity, and magnetic methods

Salary

The salary for this position is 60000-90000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
