Job Overview

The Industrial Robotics Engineer will join Siemens’ Engineering Department to design, develop, and integrate robotic systems that enhance production efficiency and product quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed simulations and kinematic analyses using industry‑standard tools such as ROS, MATLAB, and Siemens NX.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate PLC, HMI, and IoT interfaces for seamless data exchange.
  • Lead prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and performance targets.
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post‑implementation phases.
  • Develop documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging robotic technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in robotics hardware, motion control, and sensor integration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and RAPID (ABB) or KRL (KUKA).
  • Experience with PLC programming (Siemens S7, TIA Portal) and industrial networking (PROFINET, EtherCAT).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and CAD tools (Siemens NX, SolidWorks).
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Effective communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary project teams.

Education

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline.
