Job Overview
The Medical Device Sales Manager will lead the sales strategy for GE Healthcare’s portfolio of imaging and diagnostic equipment across the western region of Algeria, with a primary focus on Oran and surrounding provinces. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for the Oran region.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with hospitals, private clinics, and public health institutions.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, clinical workshops, and training sessions with technical specialists.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor campaigns and promotional activities for the Algerian market.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence for senior management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, ethical standards, and GE Healthcare’s code of conduct.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the medical device or healthcare technology sector.
- Strong understanding of the Algerian healthcare system, procurement processes, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Arabic, French, and English.
- Ability to translate technical specifications into business value for clinicians and administrators.
- Strategic thinking with a data‑driven approach to market analysis.
- Leadership qualities to mentor junior sales staff and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Education
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications in sales methodologies or healthcare management are advantageous.
Experience
A minimum of five years’ experience in selling medical devices, imaging equipment, or related healthcare solutions in North Africa is required. Experience working with public‑sector health institutions and familiarity with tender processes will be highly valued.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 150,000 to 250,000 SSP per month, complemented by performance‑based bonuses, a company car allowance, and health insurance. The package reflects the seniority of the role and the strategic importance of the Oran market.
