Job Overview
The Ground Operations Safety Supervisor will oversee all safety aspects of ground handling activities at Tamanrasset Airport, ensuring compliance with international aviation standards, local regulations, and Air Algérie’s internal policies. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor ground safety policies and procedures in accordance with ICAO, IATA, and Algerian Civil Aviation Authority guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of aircraft parking stands, loading ramps, baggage handling equipment, and fueling stations.
- Lead root‑cause investigations for safety incidents, near‑misses, and non‑conformities, producing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate emergency response drills, including fire, evacuation, and aircraft incident simulations, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared.
- Collaborate with airport management, ground handling contractors, and Air Algérie’s operations team to resolve safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident logs, and compliance documentation for internal audits and regulatory reviews.
- Provide coaching and continuous training to ground staff on safety best practices, personal protective equipment usage, and hazard identification.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, preparing monthly and quarterly safety performance dashboards for senior management.
- Ensure that all ground equipment is inspected, certified, and maintained according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Salary
