Job Overview
This role involves designing and managing sustainable construction projects in Bejaia, Algeria, with a focus on reducing environmental impact while maintaining structural integrity and cost efficiency. The position requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and local authorities to implement cutting-edge green building technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs for energy-efficient buildings using BIM and CAD software
- Conduct feasibility studies for solar panel integration, rainwater harvesting systems, and passive cooling solutions
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with international green building standards
- Prepare project budgets and timelines for sustainable construction initiatives
- Monitor environmental performance metrics post-construction
Required Skills
- Proficiency in LEED certification processes and sustainable material selection
- Experience with energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, IESVE)
- Strong understanding of Algerian building codes and climate adaptation strategies
- Excellent project management and cross-cultural communication skills
- Fluency in French and Arabic preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Sustainable Architecture, or Environmental Design
- Master’s degree in Sustainable Construction Management is an asset
Experience

Salary
