Job Summary
Power International is seeking a Payroll Senior Manager to lead payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing. The role involves managing payroll systems, supervising a team, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Design and manage payroll systems for accurate data collection and processing
- Oversee salary payments via bank transfers or paychecks
- Approve payroll changes (benefits, deductions, job roles, transfers)
- Ensure payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare payroll reports (earnings, deductions, leave, etc.)
- Calculate payroll liabilities including taxes and compensation
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Maintain updated payroll policies and procedures
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and develop payroll staff
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance
- Support recruitment and onboarding of payroll team members
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
Operations & Coordination
- Respond to payroll-related queries and requests
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data
- Collaborate with other departments for smooth payroll operations
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements
